Best Rado dial Mother of pearl Watches Reviews

This is my 2nd pair. They're very comfortable and look great on. The best feature is the inside sole comes out and can be washed.

I collect turtles and was very excited to get this. But it went back I have a 6 1/2 wrist and it was too tight - this has been made for very small people only.

  • Ceramic Watch Review (Lots of Pics)!
I just pulled the trigger on a Lucien Piccard Celano (Unisex), and it was a lot of watch for the money. I got it from thewatchery.com on a special sale for $299 + shipping to Australia. Shipping time was SpecsSize: 40mm wide x 11mm thickCrystal: Domed sapphire, no ARCase/Bracelet: Black ceramic (zirconium dioxide) & polished steelWater Resistance: 50m w/ screw down crownMovement: ETA 2671 or ETA 2824, not sure which.CommentsCase: Very rich black sheen, really gives the watch a luxury look. Nicely complimented by the steel detailing, unfortunately the steel does compromise an otherwise super scratch resistant watch. The slim profile allows it to fit under any sleeve. The caseback is a simplistic brushed steel panel, it does the job.Bezel: 60 clicks and it aligns with the markers perfectly (PERFECTLY), not even my Oris Diver Date does that. The bezel has a beautiful ceramic insert surrounded by steel details. Unfortunately the bezel is hard to grip and has almost no spring action - horrible - but tolerable seeing as this is not a dive watch.Bracelet: A tad loose and some lateral wiggle, but very attractive with a solid feeling butterfly clasp. I guess you can't have the tolerances too tight on a ceramic bracelet because it's hard to machine and weak under tension. Dial: Polished steel markers on a black tile background - fancy without being fussy. Looks great with a little reflection from that sapphire crystal. My gripes are the poor lume; and diamond markers at 3,6,9,12 that partly feminise the watch. Legibility is okay in most lighting conditions but difficult in intense sunlight due to the reflective nature of the dial.Crown: I like the domed cabochon over the LP logo - very classy. I hope it's sapphire but I'm not willing to scratch test. Conclusion Most of the design drawbacks don't bother me at all, I got a slick ceramic watch that looks like it's worth at least a grand. It's a unisex watch which means guys find it slightly feminine and women find it kind of masculine but somebody has to wear it. It looks great on my sister's and mother's wrists too. I originally wanted the diamondless version, but that one was long sold out.

New In-House Omega Chronograph Movement Launches at Baselworld 2011Fr. John?
  • Awesome ebay seller...not UPDATE
Ok, so I was generally browsing for deals on ebay India (not recommended) and I came across this listing: eBay India: Men's Wrist Watch: Omega Seamaster Professional (item 260543345896 end time 01-Feb-2010 18:50:42 IST)For those of you like me, who are a little lazy to click on the link, it's basically a listing for a Used Omega Seamaster chronograph. I'm not sure which model it is and from closer inspection I can't see any serial number on the back of the lug. So, curious, I send this question to the seller:Me: Hi,Is this a genuine Omega?ThanksThis was the reply: Seller:: It is a sensitive question technically.Let's assume that the final bid will decide it.Now I was sure it was a fake, but was a little confused about the second part of the reply. So I wrote: I'm not sure why it's a sensitive question to verify if an item is genuine or not. I had just asked since it wasn't mentioned in your listing and I wanted to double check. But I guess, I got my answer. Thanks anyway.and here's the reply (the grammar and spelling mistakes are his own):Yes, it was sensitive some way. And,oh! no you mgiht not guess you have got your answer.I told let the final bid decide it.As for genuine or not I have access to both collection. So you see you will get to the extent you bid or pay for.The picture alomost identical of both save some decerning feature.Anyway I appreicate your asking a question. So, basically, he apparently has access to both...a genuine and a fake watch and will decide which one to ship, depending on the bid amount What do I reply to this?
